Initial tests are intended to demonstrate the superiority of the new cryo-technology

The first treatment appliance that operates on the basis of electricity has gone into use today. No modifications to the handpiece have yet been made, but the existing applicators have been coated, preventing them from becoming frozen to the area of gum being treated, which is one of the biggest problems connected with the use of a cooling medium in a moist environment. First self-treatments by the two cryo-pioneers have already shown that the types of coating chosen are able to fulfil this essential requirement for use of the therapy. We look forward to the next results with keen interest.
